Field Trip: Outing – Hatley Castle and Esquimalt Lagoon (see notes below)

OUTING is on March 22. Hatley Castle grounds and Esquimalt Lagoon. This is a full day choose your own adventure. Go to both places or pick one. This is a great time for birds and gardens

Hatley Castle (outside gardens only. Inside closed to public) and Esquimalt Lagoon bird sanctuary in Victoria. These locations are a 6 min drive from one another. FULL DAY EVENT , possible museum visit at the end of day. (Can’t stay all day? That is ok)
TO BE DISCUSSED AS A GROUP… lunch in the middle at 12:30ish (packed? Eat out? Where?) Attend one spot in AM and one in PM or do it all together in AM and lunch after. Washrooms ….. I will find out what I can, or google it or call ahead.
Not sure the times. How do we feel? Do we all go to the location you personally want to start with at 9:30/10 or do we meet at a certain time and location together and go from there/ OR do we stick together the whole time? Bring a lunch? Eat out, where? DISCUSS AT NEXT MEETING.
(you could also attend the BC museum afterward or instead of going to these locations or if your done taking photos to go see ‘The Wildlife Photographer of the year.’ cost for a senior is $11 and non-senior is $18. This gets you into the full museum as well as the photo exhibit. I went last year, it is very very good) Maybe we all want to go together
